Several clients and colleagues I know feel torn between living a fulfilling life and achieving enough at work. But, if you’re like me, you may not realize how the stress is causing health issues until you hit burnout.

This is what happens to us due to the pressures of work and not finding a true path to leadership that is transparent and easy.
Lack of motivation or burnout is disconnecting and isolating! Some researchers call this depersonalization, which is not being connected to your meaning and purpose. Or perhaps you have all the motivation and it appears your team just will not row in the same direction with you. Whatever side of the picture you’re on. There’s a way forward.

Hi, I’m Kat, owner of Open Soul
I help professionals like you find meaningful work. Right out of college I worked in architecture and non-profits, learning about leadership and team dynamics, some of it was meaningful and some really wasn’t.
Before learning about living systems at work, my burnout in the workplace showed up in my body, as anxiety attacks and urgency overwhelm, and constant overthinking.
I felt disconnected from my husband, kids, friends, and my self. I am grateful for my husband supporting me through it all.
I felt despair, like a huge void. I didn’t want to share it for fear of being dismissed or treated unfairly.
